NorthStar Engineering and Surveying, Inc., and its predecessor firms have been providing quality services in the Rocky Mountain region since 1939. We’re a privately owned full service civil engineering consulting firm with a highly competent staff of engineers, construction managers, designers, surveyors, architects and inspectors.

Kim K. Kock, P.E. has 29 years of experience in the design and construction administration of a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects. These projects include major roadways, water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities, storm drainage and flood plain improvements, commercial, municipal and multi-family structures, and public and private site improvements. The former Director of Engineering Services for KLH Engineering of Pueblo, Inc., Kim and his partner, David Stravia, P.L.S., purchased the Pueblo office of KLH in 1996. Kim is committed to providing the client with quality civil and structural engineering services in a cost effective and timely manner.

David M. Stravia, P.L.S. is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, licensed to practice in the State of Colorado. With over 39 years of experience in land surveying and development, he has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the discipline including civil site development for major municipal, commercial, and residential projects. A former Principal of KLH Engineering of Pueblo, Inc., David and his partner, Kim Kock, P.E., purchased the Pueblo office of KLH in 1996. David is committed to delivering to the client the highest quality performance on all projects.
