NorthStar Engineering and Surveying, Inc. was hired by the YMCA to prepare detailed drainage, utility, transportation and site development documents for this 233 acre community campus site, which includes a community center (with a gym, courts, pool, day care facility and administration rooms), youth golf training facility and 9 hole golf course, soccer and ball fields and two community use sites. NorthStar is responsible for all phases of preliminary site analysis and pre-design surveys, as well as preparation of design documents and specifications for site development.

In addition, NorthStar was retained by the YMCA to complete master plans and annexation documents for annexation of the site to the City of Pueblo. NorthStar is also prepared complete subdivision documents and street, utility, and drainage improvement plans for the project. NorthStar was also hired to complete a preliminary evaluation regarding use of treated effluent from a nearby wastewater treatment facility for non-potable irrigation of the YMCA’s golf course, ball fields and soccer fields.
