Planning and design of improvements to State Highway 78 in the area of a new major arterial intersection (Bandera Boulevard). Project included the design of: additional highway thru lanes in each direction, new left and right turn lanes, new acceleration/deceleration laneage, all roadway improvements for Bandera Boulevard and drainage improvements as required. Design of the project allowed for the improvements to be constructed in three phases based on the increase in traffic counts associated with adjacent development. |
